What’s been happening:

I completed a career in the Air Force in 1998 in the defense acquisition field and retired as a lieutenant colonel. Since retirement, I have worked for several management consulting firms including Booz, Allen & Hamilton where I held the position of IT project manager for eight years. I'm currently working for an IT consultant and support the Army PEO Soldier Program at Ft. Belvoir, VA, in the position of acquisition support specialist. Our team provides hard and soft body armor to protect the soldiers on the front lines in the war on terrorism. My family includes a son, Jason, his wife, Lani, and their 3 boys, Jack, Matthew, and Ryan. We also have a daughter, Jessica, and her son, Dawson. We live in Northern Virginia and are members of a local Presbyterian church in Woodbridge, Prince William County. Our family enjoys boating, and I am interested in Civil War history and family genealogy. I have traced my ancestors back to Fulda, Germany, where they migrated from in 1738, settling in Bucks County, PA, and eventually Lancaster and Lebanon counties. My great-grandfather served with the 17th Pennsylvania Cavalry including engagements at Brandy Station and the Battle of Gettysburg.
